Our volunteers are invaluable to us. They help us at events, look after our collection tins and generally help keep the place running smoothly. We cannot thank them enough.
We have lots of opportunities for people to get involved as volunteers, and you can give as little or as much time as you have spare. Being a volunteer doesn’t necessarily mean spending your weekends collecting for us (although you can if you like!), you can also be a volunteer simply by choosing to tell everyone you meet about our work. You could even volunteer to tell your work colleagues about us at your next team meeting.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our volunteers come from all walks of life, students, young professionals and retired people have all helped in the past. We recognise that all volunteers are individuals and will have different skills to offer, that’s why we’ve created several different roles. Take a look and see how you can get involved. Whether you have a little or a lot of time to give – it will make a big difference.

VOLUNTEER CLATTERBRIDGE COLLECTOR
We have over 300 collection tins in circulation, bringing in around £10,000 per year. Without volunteers regularly servicing ours tins, this income would be neglected. Similarly, the average store collection brings in around £200 in just a few hours – without volunteers this money would never make its way to us.
